Overview

At Mastering Engine, we're committed to providing professional audio mastering services that are both accessible and sustainable. Our "unlimited" PRO subscriptions are designed for normal commercial use by musicians, producers, and audio professionals.

What is "Unlimited" Mastering?

When we say "unlimited," we mean you can master as many tracks as you need for your professional work without worrying about counting credits or running out of exports.

PRO Subscription Limits

To ensure fair access for all users and maintain service quality, we apply the following reasonable use limits:

Monthly Exports

500

Resets on the 1st of each month

Daily Exports

100

Resets at midnight

Rate Limiting

30s

Between exports

File Requirements

In addition to account limits, individual audio files must meet these technical specifications:

Maximum Duration: 15 minutes per file
Supported Formats: WAV, MP3, FLAC, AIFF, OGG
File Size: No explicit limit (reasonable sizes recommended)

Why the limit?

To ensure fast processing and the best experience for all users. 99% of songs are under 6 minutes, and our 15-minute limit covers even extended mixes and long-form content.

Why These Limits?

For Professional Users

500 exports per month equals approximately 16-17 tracks per day.

This is more than sufficient for:

Professional music producers
Podcast creators mastering episodes
Content creators producing regular audio
Mixing engineers mastering client projects

Preventing Abuse

These limits protect our service from:

Automated bot usage
System abuse that degrades performance for all users
Commercial reselling of our service

What Happens if I Hit a Limit?

Monthly Limit (500 exports)

You'll see: "Monthly export limit reached (500/month). Limit resets next month."

What to do: Wait until the 1st of next month, or contact us about enterprise options.

Daily Limit (100 exports)

You'll see: "Daily export limit reached (100/day). Limit resets at midnight."

What to do: Wait until tomorrow, or spread your work across multiple days.

Rate Limit (30 seconds)

You'll see: "Please wait X seconds before your next export."

What to do: Simply wait a few seconds and try again.
